I had an absolutely amazing weekend last week premiering my new adaption of Wind In The Willows at Queens Theatre Hornchurch. It was a pleasure having my nine piece band in the pit with a cast of 120 young people from the Queens Theatre Youth Company ‘Q Youth’ performing this original musical for the first time.

We had three sold out shows and standing ovations and it completely exceeded all my expectations; the young people were so incredible. I am very proud of the hard work they put it and the fantastic production they created.

Here is a lovely review of the show included in the Romford Recorder:

Here’s a review of the show in Hornchurch Life too!

Below is a selection of pictures taken mostly by me (hence why they are not of a high standard!) of various occurrences throughout the weekend. Enjoy!

I feel so genuinely lucky to have had the opportunity to write and perform my first musical. It has been an incredible experience and I have learnt so much from the process of doing this and I hope it is an opportunity I get to repeat! Thanks again to the Queens Theatre for taking a gamble on our show and thanks also to James Watson who wrote the amazing book and script to go with all my silly tunes. Bring on the next show!
