December 2014

Hello Everyone!

I’ve had an amazing this year, and a busy December, filled with lots of great Christmas parties, school concerts and many, many gigs!

My Quartet performed a close to sell out gig in late November featuring the talents of Tom Millar, Nic Breakspear and Will Glazer at the Queens Theatre Hornchurch, with another performance there in the pipeline for late March 2015.

I’ve also been busy depping for some tribute act bands, performing Motown and ABBA classics! This was a ridiculous but exciting experience indeed! Alongside some other Pantomime work, it has been a mad time!

I was featured as part of MIMIKA and Mak Murtic on a recording that is soon to be broadcast on BBC3, part of the ‘adopt a composer’ scheme, as Mak had written a new work involving a smaller sized MIMIKA with a choir in Clapham, which was an incredible evening of new and creative music.

I’ve had two new local amateur groups perform two new shows I wrote for them, both of which were well received and considered a great success. I am still working on the next show at the Queens Theatre working with the 15-18yr olds in the Cut2 Company on their next show, The Edelweiss Pirates. I’m also looking forward to getting involved with the next big youth musical which will feature roughly 100 5-18yr olds, which will be incredible!

On NYE I’ll be busy doing a gig with none other that Koolio - of Koolio and the Gang fame - which is exciting.

And soon the big band will be back to the forte, as I am currently writing some new music and getting gigs booked in the diary - watch this space, as in January, the exciting news will be hitting social media like a giant’s foot!

May I take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Let’s make 2015 a year to remember!

Is it Christmas?
